Corporate Asset Management Plan
We own approximately 250 buildings including a number of statutory listed buildings for which the land and property team is responsible for the repair and maintenance budget.
It is the responsibility of our land and property team to ensure that appropriate repairs and maintenance of this building stock is programmed on an annual basis and identified works are appropriately implemented.
The team can provide details of all land and property in our ownership including disposals and acquisitions, leases, lettings, easements, rights of way etc. with the exception of the markets which are managed separately by our Neighbourhood Wardens.
In addition to the above the team can deal with enquiries regarding:
- Ownership verification for our own land and property assets. We cannot deal with enquiries for privately owned land, these are dealt with by the Land Registry
- Asset valuations for our property portfolio. Again this service does not extend to private properties, further information for private valuations can be found at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
- Negotiation of agreements and consents which involve our land and property.
- Preparation of tender documents and management of contracts associated with our property portfolio.
