The Health Act 2006 made virtually all indoor public places and work places smoke-free, including work vehicles. Smoking is not allowed in pubs, private members clubs, offices, shops, factories, restaurants and taxis, or an any enclosed space where people are working.
The legislation is designed to protect workers and members of the Public from the serious health risks of second hand smoke. As a result, people working in bars, restaurants, pubs and other workplaces will enjoy breathing fresh air.
