Access Guide to Rutland Sports Park for people with disabilities

Guide dogs can be accommodated.
Rutland Sports Park has designated parking bays for people with disabilities. There are six in the main car park, three directly outside the main door of the pavilion, three outside the tennis centre and three at the golf pavilion.
The route to the sports centre pavilion is on one level and accessible by wheelchair.
The nearest bus stops are on Ilkeston Market Place and on Oakwell Drive. For information on local buses and the most up to date timetables, please have a look at the Trent Barton website.
There is level access to the main pavilion building.
The main doors in and out of the building are automatic.
There are visual emergency alarms throughout the building.
There is a lift just to the left of the reception desk which will take you to the first floor gym and to the track, throws and pitch areas.
The Reception has a low level desk.
There is a hearing induction loop. We can provide leaflets in large print and other languages on request.
There are adapted toilets on the ground floor in reception, on the first floor gym area, in the tennis centre and in the golf clubhouse.
The toilets are unisex. A Radar key is required.
The toilets have a basin, handrails, hand dryer, sanitary disposal and emergency alarm.
The golf clubhouse is situated at the end of West End Drive and has three parking spaces for people with disabilities, level, assisted access to the building and adapted toilets which require a Radar key.
The tennis centre has three parking spaces for people with disabilities, gentle ramped access to the building and adapted toilets which require a Radar key.
