Town Centre Master Plans have been created for Ilkeston and Long Eaton to provide a blue print for future development. Indeed, they represent a comprehensive urban design framework and development strategy for the town centres which guides regeneration work and attracts investment into the towns.
The Masterplans (adopted in 2007) contain an overall vision and objectives for the two towns, as well as promoting the delivery of more specific demonstrator projects.
