Little Eaton Parish – Neighbourhood Area Designation

A meeting of Erewash Borough Council’s Planning Committee on Wednesday 5th July 2017 approved Little Eaton Parish Council’s application to designate a Neighbourhood Area covering the entirety of the Parish. The Borough Council’s designation of a Neighbourhood Area is a required first stage of the process which regulates Neighbourhood Plan formulation.

Regulation 7 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended by the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2015) requires the Borough Council to publicise the decision referred to above on its website. Additionally to this, the Borough Council must also a) indicate the name of the Neighbourhood Area, b) a map identifying the area, and c) state the name of the body who applied for the designation. This information can be found below:

a) Little Eaton Parish Neighbourhood Area

b) Little Eaton Parish Neighbourhood Area Map; and

c) Little Eaton Parish Council.
