Location: Beech Avenue, Sandiacre outside No 58.

Reason: To facilitate replacement of broken manhole cover.

Alternative Route: Beech Avenue - Stanton Road - Coronation Avenue - Maple Avenue - Beech Avenue and vice-versa.

Sunday 5 March 2017

Location: Station Road, Long Eaton at the railway level crossing adjacent to Main Street.

Reason: To facilitate railway bridge examination.

Alternative Route: Station Road - Main Street - Cross Street - Waverley Street - A6005 Nottingham Road - Station Road and vice-versa. 

Sunday 19 March 2017, between 0030hrs and 0920hrs

Location: Bourne Square, Breaston opposite No 35.

Reason: To facilitate gas connection works.

Alternative Route: Bourne Square - A6005 Main Street - Bourne Square and vice-versa.


Monday 27 March to Thursday 30 March 2017

Location: Awsworth Road, Ilkeston from a point 430 metres from its junction with Shilo Way, to a point 440 metres from its junction with Duke Street.

Reason: To facilitate reconstruction of railway bridge, including works to both approaches.

Alternative Route: Awsworth Road - Newton's Lane - Shilo Way - Millership Way - Rutland Street - Granby Street - Awsworth Road and vice versa.

Extended 12 September 2016 to 12 April 2017

Location: Close Sawley Road, Breaston at the level crossing.

Reason: To facilitate annual level crossing test and signals.

Alternative route: Sawley Road (Breaston) - Draycott Road - Repton Road - Wilne Lane - Sawley Road (Draycott) - A6005 Draycott Road - Sawley Road (Breaston) and vice versa.

Sunday 5 March 2017 between 00:40 hrs and 06:45 hrs
and Sunday 19 March 2017 between 00:55 hrs and 08:45 hrs

Location: Blind Lane, Breaston from its junction with The Green to its junction with Stevens Lane

Reason:  To facilitate carriageway patching works.

Alternative Route: The Green - A6005 Main Street - Stevens Lane and vice-versa.

Tuesday 14 March 2017

Location: Harrington Street, Draycott from its junction with A6005 Station Road to its junction with Villa Street.

Reason: To facilitate gas mains renewal works.

Alternative Route: Harrington Street - A6005 Station Road - Elvaston Street - Villa Street - Harrington Street and vice-versa.

Monday 20 March to Friday 31 March 2017

Access will be maintained whenever reasonably possible on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused whilst work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533 190.

The County Council intends to make/has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
