Stunning music from the multi-award winning smash hit adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s ‘War Horse’ performed by the West End show’s ‘songman’ is being brought to Long Eaton as part of the Live and Local programme.
Folk legend Bob Fox featured in the West End production of War Horse for 18 months and is now on a solo tour to take songs from the show to small venues across the country.
The North East singer – twice nominated for the BBC 2 Folk Awards Singer of the Year – will bring his must-see show to St John’s Church in Long Eaton on Sunday 14 May, where music fans will hear the story of War Horse through song.
The concert gets underway at 7pm. Tickets are £10 and £8 for under 18s, students and unemployed and are available from the box office by calling 0115 973 1495
Live and Local – which is supported by Erewash Borough Council – is a not-for-profit arts organisation that works with a network of volunteers to provide top quality entertainment in small venues across communities in Derbyshire and other neighbouring counties.
