Derbyshire residents who experience prejudice or hate crime can get support from a free 24-hour reporting system.
"Stop Hate UK" defines hate crime as any offence against a person or property, motivated by the offender's hatred of someone because of their race, religion, sexuality, gender identity or disability.
It includes physical attacks, damage to property, threat of attack, abusive telephone calls, verbal abuse or written insults like offensive leaflets, graffiti and posters.
