Personal account

Residents and visitors can now access a wider range of services online, at any time of day, even when our offices are closed. By registering for a personal account you can get secure online access allowing you to:

  • Access information about many services via 'Get Answers Fast'
  • Report a change of address
  • Apply for Council Tax Discounts
  • Set up/update Direct Debit payments
  • View personalised information about your Council Tax, Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Support
  • Check payments made and when payments are due
  • Apply for Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Support and report any changes
  • Apply and pay for many services
  • Report issues to the council

You can track many request through your account, upload evidence and respond to enquiries from the council 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Registering allows you to see specific Business Rates information:

  • Check that we hold the correct details about yourself and your business
  • View and download your bills
  • See at a glance, what payments you have made and your outstanding balance
  • Register for Business Rates for the first time or let us know that you are moving
  • Apply for discounts or refunds
  • Change your payment/bank details

In addition you can:

  • Track the progress of any forms/requests you have submitted
  • Get answers to frequently asked questions
  • Get the latest business advice, including Covid-19 related information

Landlords

Our landlord portal allows you to:

  • View your most recent payments, including a breakdown of the amount you received for each tenant
  • View previous payments and download your payment schedules in CSV format enabling you to import into your own system
  • Notify us of any changes in your or your tenant’s circumstances
  • Track the progress of any forms/requests you have submitted
  • Get answers to frequently asked questions
