Erewash community and voluntary groups looking for funding are being urged to apply for a grant of up to £2,000 to help them with their work in the borough.
Erewash Borough Council has opened another round of funding through its Community Grants scheme and is urging local groups to apply for support ahead of the closing deadline of 5.30pm on Thursday 19 July.
Over the last few years the council has handed out thousands of pounds to countless groups in Erewash to help them with their vital work to help others in the community.
Groups both large and small have been helped and now the council would like especially to hear from those voluntary organisations in Erewash that have still to apply.
Councillor Gerri Hickton, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Community Engagement, says:
“We know there are so many groups out there working tirelessly day in and day out to help people living in Erewash. We are delighted to continue to offer these small grants to help you do that work – so please apply and if you need advice or help with the application then don’t hesitate to get in touch. Your work is important and we’re here to help.”
Full details of the scheme and how to apply for a community grant are available here.
Anyone needing help or advice to complete the application form can contact the council’s Community Engagement Officer Colin Handley via email email@example.com or on 0115 907 2244.
