Residents can have their say on how Erewash Borough Council tackles anti-social behaviour caused by the consumption of alcohol in public places.

The council currently has an order that covers the borough which helps the council and police deal with anti-social behaviour caused by alcohol consumption. The order expires in October 2020.

Erewash Borough Council would like to introduce a Public Space Protection Order, to be able to continue to use similar powers to the ones provided by the current order to continue to tackle alcohol consumption in public spaces when the individual is behaving anti-socially. As part of the process to put this new order in place the council needs to talk to residents and partners about its plans.

You are invited to share your thoughts on how Erewash Borough Council tackles anti-social behaviour caused by the consumption of alcohol in public by completing a short survey by 11.55pm Sunday 12 July 2020.
