Payment Options
You will need the account reference number from your Business Rates bill in the 'Reference Number' box on the payments page (this is a ten digit number beginning with '9').
This option should only be chosen where you are making a payment for a service where a bill or invoice has not been issued; for example, where you are making a payment as part of an application for a licence or a car-park season ticket. You will need to select which service and which specific item within that service you are paying for
Note: When making a payment online, please be aware that it can take up to three working days for your payment to reach us.
Alternatively, you can make a payment by debit or credit card over the telephone on our Card Payment Line on 0115 907 2222. The automated service may ask you for a "seven digit account number" if you are paying a sundry invoice/debt but this will be the invoice number.
