Electric Vehicle Charging
The council supports EV charging in some of its car parks.
We currently have charging points in:
Ilkeston
Pimlico car park
Long Eaton
Gibb Street car park
Long Eaton Train Station car park
The bays associated with EV charging are clearly marked. There is no exception for EV vehicles to charge without a pay and display ticket so please ensure one is purchased.
The EV charging points were installed at a cost of £107,000. This funding came from Nottingham City Council, following its successful bid for £6.12m of government money to become one of four Go Ultra Low Cities. The City Council is managing the project with BP Chargemaster as the delivery partner.
