Volunteering
You can support the museum by applying for one of our volunteer roles. Our museum is supported by volunteers helping with garden maintenance, events and craft activities, collections work and running our café. If you would like to find out more and apply for a volunteer role, please get in touch.
Donations
The museum welcomes financial donations from residents of the borough or visitors from further afield. There are donations boxes located around the museum where cash donations can be given. The museum reception will also accept cheque donations.
We know the museum holds a place close to many of our residents’ hearts, whether that be from visiting as a child with their school, attending one of our fantastic events with their family each year or visiting regularly to see the exhibitions or socialise in the café.
If you would like to provide a more generous donation such as a large cash sum or a bequeathment please contact the Wellbeing and Culture Service Manager to discuss directly.

The Friends of Erewash Museum
The Friends is a registered charity that has supported Erewash Museum since the 1980s.
You can help support the museum by becoming a ‘Friend of Erewash Museum’. Annual membership is £10 individual, £15 a couple and £5 student.
