What's On at Erewash Museum

Erewash Museum hold a variety events throughout the year for all the family. It is the perfect place to spend a day taking part in workshops, talks, and activities.

Easter holidays

Make do and mend

9 / 10 / 11 April:

Reuses repurpose and recycle! A dedicated week to using what we have and making something new. Get creative with craft upcycling workshops, immersive yourself in free play or browse our pop-up charity shop. There will be the chance to take part in an object handling session of items from the Second World War.

Pages, poems, and pictures

16/ 17/ April

Whether you are a word smith or want to bring a story to life through drawings, there is something for everyone this week as we celebrate all things books! Take part in workshops to create your own book, meet Mr Rhyme and create your own poem or find your new read at our book stall.

Enjoy a variety of different vehicles to admire. Teaming up with “The Great British Car Journey - Interactive Car Museum” to bring you some spectacular automobiles.

Steampunk - - Pirate Invasion

7 June

It’s the return of the time travelling Victorians. A day of entertainment, exploring unique stalls and admiring stunning costumes.

Festivity Tour with Arts Derbyshire

5/6 July

Festivity is a vibrant family-friendly countywide tour celebrating the incredible talents of Derbyshire’s musicians, poets, dancers, visual artists, screen-based installations and storytellers.
