Covid-19 latest

You must now stay at home

Following the Prime Minister's announcement on 23rd March, people must now stay at home because we need to protect the NHS. This is how we will save lives.

Erewash Borough Council has closed its reception areas at Ilkeston and Long Eaton town halls until further notice to protect the public and staff. This means drop-in appointments are not currently available.  If you wish to make a payment you can do this on the website or by phone.  If you want to pay by direct debit call us on 0115 9072244 and we will help you do that, or complete the form on your My Erewash account.  Staff will be available for emergencies such as homelessness. Call 0115 9072244 and we will ask our Housing Options or benefits team to call you back.

Wherever possible please use your My Erewash account to stay in touch as we are currently experiencing a high number of calls.

We have two Council Offices and both are open to see the general public for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support enquires. See below for further details.
