Erewash Borough Council has been working successfully in partnership with the Midlands Net Zero Hub to deliver home energy efficiency improvements across the council area.
This year the project aims to assist low-income households living in properties that do not have mains-gas central heating.
The scheme aims to improve homes to be more energy-efficient through the provision of a range of insulation and low-carbon technologies, including cavity wall insulation, internal and external wall insulation, loft and underfloor insulation, air source heat pumps and solar PV panels.
To be eligible for the grants, applicants must have a combined annual household income of £36,000 per year or under; an Energy Performance Certificate with a rating of D, E, F or G and the property must not have gas central heating.
Applications close later this year and funding is limited, so please complete the registration questionnaire on the council’s Warmer Homes Erewash webpage as soon as possible.
