Parkwood Leisure have operated the Council Leisure Centres for the past five years and have invested over £1.3 million to improve facilities and activities for customers.
This investment continues with a £200,000 refurbishment of the fitness gym at West Park Leisure Centre.
The Fitness gym refurbishment includes; Redecoration, sand and seal of the CV studio flooring and a full replacement of the fitness gym equipment by Life fitness.
The brand new, state of the art, Life Fitness gym equipment, including new cardio and resistance machines as well as new functional kit. Benefits of the new equipment include:
- Cardio equipment with a range of different consoles including 24 inch and 16 inch “SE4” touch screens with full connectivity and a wide range of immersive on-demand workouts
- Top of the range “Insignia” resistance equipment
- Improved range of cable resistance equipment from the “Signature” range
- Upgraded functional training area including new equipment
- Ability to use the Lifefitness app for the latest programmes and information: Life Fitness Connect
