2024 Event Dates
Chestnut Fair
Thrill rides and stalls will be taking over streets in Erewash barely a month after Ilkeston’s 772nd charter fair – as November sees Long Eaton host its Chestnut Fair.
Although nowhere near as old as the borough’s more celebrated street fair, the three-day spectacle again promises to be just as much fun for all the family.
The Chestnut Fair runs from Thursday 21 November to Saturday 23 November – with road closures starting from Monday 18 November at 6pm and lasting until midnight the following Sunday. The opening times are Thursday and Friday 6pm – 10pm, Saturday 1pm – 10pm.
Rides and stalls will stretch along the High Street through to the Market Place. The Beaconsfield car park will be closed to the public.
Organised by Mellors Group, it is one of the final big street fairs of the year.
