Super Commuter: Business Bus Discount
For businesses located near East Midlands Airport, Travel Derbyshire is funding a 25% discount on an annual bus pass to make it more affordable for employees to get to work.
Business can register to be part of the scheme and advertise the discount to employees.
Businesses can then purchase a discounted annual travel pass, on their employees’ behalf, through the trentbarton portal (please note, only employees living in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire are eligible to access the discount).
The business then makes monthly deductions from the employee’s salary to recoup the cost of the ticket. Employees therefore benefit from the savings of an annual travel pass, without the need for a large initial payment.
There is even a refund policy in place should an employee leave the company.
Please note, this discount is only available until March 2025.

The cost of these annual travel passes is provided in the table below. All Super Commuter passes will be cheaper than the £3 fare cap starting from the 1st Jan 2025.
