2024 General Election
The results for the Erewash constituency in the UK Parliamentary Election on July 4 2024 saw a win for Labour.

Turnout: 60.39%. 43,181 residents voted in the Erewash constituency out of 71,501 eligible voters.

July 1: It is understood that the Erewash Reform UK candidate has announced his decision to leave the Reform UK political party and has suspended his election campaign with immediate effect. There is no legal mechanism to remove their name or political party description and emblem from the ballot paper. Returning Officers have no legal powers to amend a ballot paper or stop an election in these circumstances. Everything must continue as planned in line with electoral law.
2019 results
At the last General Election Maggie Throup retained her seat as MP for Erewash with a majority of 10,606. She increased her majority from 4,534 in the 2017 General Election. The overall turnout for Erewash was 67.5%. The results were:
