Fireworks EventThe Starry Skies Spectacular Fireworks Display at West Park, Long Eaton will be Saturday 2 November 2024. Gates open at 5pm. Enjoy our spectacular pyrotechnic fireworks display and the thrills of the fair. There will also be stalls selling delicious traditional funfair food.
The fireworks start at 7pm and will take place to a soundtrack of music from legends such as David Bowie, Coldplay, Muse and Elton John.

Advance prices:
Adult pre-paid and online: £8 (£10 on the night)16 years and under/over 60: £5 (£7 on the night)
Family ticket: £20 (£25 on the night)
Children under five: FREE
Online discounted tickets available until 2pm on Saturday 2 November, after which time all tickets will be full price.
No fireworks and sparklers permitted.
Parking and traffic
We are pleased to confirm that additional car parking has been made available for the council’s Starry Skies Spectacular fireworks event at West Park this Saturday, November 2.
The extra parking will be at the events field, which is next to the main car park. It will be lit, as will the new link path.Car parking is £3 and payment will be by card on the night for the event car park.
We expect there to be more traffic congestion than normal, particularly on Wilsthorpe Road, from approximately 4pm onwards. Please be aware that there will also be queuing on Wilsthorpe Road as people access West Park Leisure Centre car park and again when they leave the event. Please note that West Park Leisure Centre car park will be limited to 150 who have obtained a ticket online, and for disabled badge holders only; all other cars are expected to park at the other surrounding car parks.
Cones will be set up along Wilsthorpe Road between Thoresby Road and Parkside Avenue, and along Pennyfields Boulevard to discourage people from parking.
Stalls
We do not have any availability for traders to stand at the event.
