Family Days Out

Paths and trails

Nutbrook Trail  a 10 mile, traffic free path stretching from Long Eaton to Heanor. 

Erewash Canal 11.5miles of paths suitable for walking and cycling. You can even stop off at Trent Lock or Bennerley Viaduct

Story Walk at West Park, Long Eaton. Follow the pedestals around the park to find the story of Jake, Amber and their dog, Bob. Accompanying leaflet available from West Park Leisure Centre

There is also the free splash pad at West Park in Long Eaton. Open daily from 10am - 7pm until the end of September
